4K DLP vs 70mm shootout

if the 70mm copy is a average one and the 4k digital was record with a true
4k camera at a good qualityi am sure the 4k dlp will be the
winner.
i hear from people that saw this already.

seams to be a interresting event.
you be there?

Hi Wolfgang, looks like a must go event if one is closely monitoring the launch of cinema dlp 4k. I have very interesting news from Schneider who will be demoing there.

BTW saw the Panasonic 85" 3d in vegas , sehr gut.
yes good news that the 85" can do now 144hz as well!
seams the only week part for me is how i can feed this plasma
with my 3d stills?
and almost forgeth the 85"is not 4k

when i was back from holiday i may found good news in my mail account
about the 4k dlp.

Hi Norm actually schneider never got the new lens in time for the event so they were a no show.

There are some very interesting new lenses coming from schneider but for the larger 1.35 dmd.

TI is working on getting a new set of lenses certified for 4k as the regular 2k lenses don't resolve. The new Barco lens made a huge difference in PQ from the previous Golden Ticket event, when they compared to the large format 15/70 there is no contest 4k is here to stay.

I believe Norm may be looking for a scope attachment possible a wider screen?

He could go for that new lens you just installed on that 1500.
