static on center channel on Denon AVR-2307CI

Thread Starter
I had to move my receiver today to get new carpet installed. When I hooked it back up I get static and clipped sound through the center channel. I have tested with a different speaker and different speaker cable. I have also disconnected everything but input sources from the receiver. I have tried multiple input sources. Any help would be great. I am hoping I do not have to buy a new receiver.

Thanks in advance

I had static issues on my Marantz SR4001 after moving it to a new entertainment center. Routing all power cords away from everything else ended up solving the problem. If you must cross a power cord make sure the cords are at 90 degrees to one another.

If the above tip doesn't solve your issue, then try resetting the microprocessor, the procedure is listed near the back of your owner's manual (look in table of contents).
