Fairly Legal on USA in HD - Page 3

They also seem to have dropped the way Kate was late for everything in Season 1. I wondered if they decided that trait made the character less appealing to people.
I'm just a sucker regardless. I... don't mind if she comes late too.

I seem to remember the Oz ringtones were only in the pilot and both the wife and I noticed them missing in the 2nd episodes although they would still often show her phone showing a call from "the wicked witch". My guess is it would be too expensive to license the music for an entire series.

As for her not being late anymore, they highlighted just this past episode that she was late. LOL

First of all I'm a huge Sara Shahi fan. She was great on Sleeper Cell, really good on the Soprano's, and of course a feature role on Life with Captain Winters. This show is getting to be way too cutesy for me, and I know it's on "Blue Sky" USA, but come on... The preening to the camera the, the little girl acting in the board room, just too much over-acting, and I usually watch and like anything she is in. Friday's episode was just too much, except for Virginia Williams last scene....WOW!!! Might have to change the channel on Friday night....

Man... either alll the drugs I took are REALLY good (broken collar bone) or this show got really good! The one liners are great. And Kate is cute as always, blondie I'm liking too. Even Kate's ex. He's a good actor. Black guy trying to be funny, but too obviously sarcastic/funny. I like the guest actors too. Guy from Alias and then the older guy that use usually plays a PC dad. Bad with names atm.

Oh Snap! Kelly Hu!

I usually hate when shows bring in new characters when I feel the show worked perfectly well before and I wasn't sure how I was gonna take to this new guy at Reed & Reed, but I gotta say I like his character.

I like these three! Great episode! Reed and Reed isn't going down they're going to flourish!

+1
Loved when Lauren referred to him (Ben) as a "bus poster lawyer"!
He kind of reminds me of the sleaze bag lawyer "Saul Goodman" from Breaking Bad who always "knows a guy...". Really enjoy his battles with the quick witted Lauren, Kate on the other hand has to learn how to slap him down properly- "leave me alone" just doesn't cut it....

Ugh... Kate becoming all righteous, tearing up, cue the Violins or Piano... "Blue Sky" USA. The new Lawyer in the office is horrible, stiff as a board, must be his face... He also can't carry Saul Goodman's water bottle or received his Juris degree from the University of American Samoa. The Assistant is pretty good. Lauren is also very good, especially with her hair down. Still a big Sarah fan though, must be the writing.....

Gawd I love Lauren. That's saying a lot since I prefer Brunettes.
The problem with Lauren for me is, damn she needs a few cheeseburgers.

Sara Shahi is thin too but doesn't look like she hasn't eaten a thing in 2 weeks.

I think they are both fine.

She actually looks like she gained maybe a pound since last season where she just looked too frail. She actually looks younger this season- maybe because she ate a cheeseburger or two in the off season
Virginia Williams certainly knows how to carry herself, between her designer wardrobe, shoes, hair, makeup, etc... she's a class act and very easy on the eyes.

Sara Shahi needs an extreme makeover now too.... she's gorgeous but they're not doing her justice with the hideous outfits they stick her in.

That white t-shirt was enough for me...

No kidding. She makes *any* outfit look good to be honest.
Yeah... I really don't see any problems.

Good episode. I guess I'm sticking with this show. There are a lot of shows that seem like they are ending for me so I need subs til they come back anyway.
I liked this show, but the new lawyer ruins it. He serves no useful purpose that I can discern.
I don't like him, but I do think they've developed him well.
Well he obviously is intended as a foil or love interest, but he fail miserable on both counts. I like Kate with Justin, just do the on again off again thing for the season and perhaps the next, and loose the new guy.
He's the reason I bailed. Completely spoiled the show for me.
All of a sudden Kate and this yahoo are going to hook up? I'm gonna have to bail now.

And I thought it was only me! I can't fathom what the writers are thinking with Kate and this schlep? He has hardly any redeeming qualities and is annoying to boot! Stop this story line immediately.

This Friday is the SEASON FINALE already? Geez, short season.
Actually, it's 3 more episodes than the first season, 13 versus 10. It did seem to go rather quickly though.

Love Michael Trucco - do not like the new guy!d
post #87 of 89
Not real fond of the ending. I hope that new apartment is on an upper floor then someone can push the new guy off and we'd be rid of him. Really see no redeeming qualities in him at all, have no idea what the writers, producers and casting crew were thinking when they hired him. He's a toad in every sense of the word.

Not sure where they are going with the Lauren thing, and it was too easy of a win for Justin.

Fairly Legal has been canceled. Sarah Shahi is moving on to a multi-episode arc on "Chicago Fire." Guess I'll have to watch that for my SS fix. I won't miss Fairly Legal that much, but if there's an "it," she's got it. smile.gif

Love her, but Chicago Fire? PASS.
