Need help with holding AV equipment

Thread Starter
I've got a super modest theater setup in the basement. I have all the cables coming out of the wall in a corner, so it makes sense to put the AV stuff in there. But I'm at a loss for figuring out how to store it.

I've got an xbox 360, a small media pc with external hard drive, a small receiver, and some other small things. It would be nice to be able to store xbox controllers and stuff in there as well.

I also have a subwoofer that I've been putting in that corner.

Should I just build a small box with shelves there? Or buy something?

Thanks,
Joe

Check out the "Show Me Your Rack" thread for some ideeas. You'll be glad you did.

There, you'll see a compilation of homemade and manufactured racks.

For you it really comes down to personal preference. Would you rather pay more for a standard yet custom rack or are you okay with the aesthetics of shelving? How much are you willing to spend?
