I see both sides on the taxi thing. It really does seem unfair when there are problems but the fact of the matter is the odds are the same for each team. So the "luck of the draw" comes into play, no differently than a challenge they have to complete with animals. If the animal isn't cooperating then that's just how it is. Bottom line, it's a means to level the playing field as a teams dominance is neutralized, or potentially so, with the taxi (or any other mode of transport) issues.
To that point, I'm bummed about the football players. I really liked them and thought they would do well, plus they were pretty entertaining. I have never seen Phil show up at an arrival point before. These guys didn't even get out of the airport! My wife is calling this one out as this years conspiracy theory (so far anyway). The travel agent just happened to enter the wrong date, the doctors just happened to secure that last seat on the flight while sitting right next to the football players. Then he just happens to get a page from that same agent to offer an alternate flight BUT it has two connections, and every connection they had was delayed...even after actually boarding the plane. I don't know if I agree with the conspiracy or not but I do see how fantastic that sounds. Especially considering these are guys that, presumably, don't need the money anyway.
Possibly the best play that I've ever seen on any season....the girls jumping ahead and getting the standby seats. BRILLIANT!
And I'm definitely not feeling the Ex-Couple. "Pinky" is ridiculous and I SO wanted them to burn that express pass on the tile challenge. If you watched the promos for next week, the doctors apparently have a lead in some regard and demanded the express pass in exchange for information. I can't wait to see how that plays out. I suspect "Pinky" will say no out of pride and pit a battle between those two teams, which I think will make for some good drama. We'll see!
