New Nintendo 3D Display to get wireless connection for TV

In Amsterdam it was announced that the new Nintendo hand held 3D display will be able to display 3D TV content wirelessly through agreements with for example SKY in Great Britain. It will be interesting to learn whether similar agreements will be announced for 3D TV viewing on the Nintendo here in the U.S.

This is good news for those of us interested in seeing more 3D content, because the 3DS will probably double the '3D ready' audience within a month of its launch.

At that small screen size though isn't 1980x1080 high res almost overkill? The glasses free 3D screen on my FujiFinepix 3D camera produces sharp crisp views. Now I have heard the 3D screens on the upcoming Sony and JVC 3D camcorders leave something to be desired. Guess we will just have to wait and see which of the two Nintendo will be emulating.
