PDF says Preliminary, but also that it uses a single 0.95" DLP chip. On-Off contrast is limited at upto 2000:1, even the 0.98" DLPs tend to get 2500:1 or a tad higher, so that's an indicatin of the cost cutting involved.

Isn't the bandwidth a bit limited for 3D applications? Guess it will be limited to a total of 120 fps? Yep, just read some of last years cedia time reports based on the company's announcement.
And the 3 in the subject isn't missing 'chip', but 'D', I would expect that a single chipper would be off-topic here, these days. Reports also spoke of adressing the mass market ith this unit...
