Replacing 960n

I have a XBR960N and it has been awesome! But I want to jump on the 3d bandwagon. I have been looking at 55" and above. Nothing is grabbing my attention. I just cant bring myself to pull the trigger on something. Have any of you 960 owners bought a 3dtv and if so what compares to the 960's picture quality?

Thanks

I, too, own a 960N. The only other monitor that comes remotely close is a Pioneer Elite Plasma.

I upgraded from my 34HS510 to a Panasonic 54" Viera Plasma and have been very happy with the PQ relative to the Sony crt. My primary reason for upgrading was for increased screen size.

rant on. For me, 3d is more gimmick than anything. I can't imagine having to wear cumbersome glasses to watch a program or movie. Simply a gimmick designed to sell more expensive sets, or to push owner's to replace existing sets. Hell, many providers can't yet provide consistent HD. rant off

Of course, 3d gaming may become THE hot ticket.

Thanks for the replys. I went with a sony 55" hx8. I just could pass it up for the price.

I am going to sell my 960n on craigslist. I will offer it to the guys here first , although it would have to be a local pickup.
