9" crt stacking

I just read the stacking vs blending thread that ended in 2007. My question for stacking or blending but especially stacking. Do both projectors have to be the same unit ? can I mix a 9" 9500 marquee with a 9" barco 1209s . tube condition maybe different by a few thousand hours.

I would think you could stack those, but blending would probably not be an option.

Hello

You will need point green convergence on both machines, and likely a screen at least nine feet wide. And a way to feed a test grid to both by video generator or DVD, the test grids from inside the projectors are of no value for superimposing.

just fantasizing back to reality, one projector and smaller screen, pix look great of blends. will have to see one some day.
