I just hooked my 722k to my new 1080p plasma. Is there not an HD option for "native"? I can only choose 1080i or 720p. Does it really matter since I'm pretty sure my TV does the upscaling to 1080p? Just trying to figure out which option is best.

Nope, no native option on Dish ViP receivers. You can try 720p and 1080i and see what looks better to you. But I'd recommend 1080i just because there are more 1080i channels than 720p.
