Group Buy for 6.5" Anarchy Tapped Horn. - Page 9

Guys, I've decided that it makes sense to just put the gasket material in with each flat pack for nothing extra. I'm heading up to PE tomorrow and get some more. It's not expensive and each one doesn't need that much.

That's something most guys don't have laying around and it's really cheap anyway.


Here's my reasoning. The first test box they cut was a bit tight when I dry fitted it. So they cut a second test box with a little "slop" in one side panel. Well, I was going to buy 2 boxes, and the first test box ended up being a spare, but I can use the box. I'll take the $70 saved from that enclosure and spend it on the gasket material.

I've got a decent number boxed up, but haven't sent out too many yet. To the guys that I did ship to, let me know if you need this stuff and I'll mail it to you. No big deal.

No, I'll contact you when I print up the shipping label. It's kind of difficult right now contacting every single with the same info all at once. That would take hours per night. So I try to do it when I know exactly the day your stuff is ready to go out. I don't want people to pay and wait for their stuff for a week or more. I don't think that's fair. Don't worry, your stuff won't go to anyone else.

I'm going by who sent me their address first. If I went right down the list I might be waiting for someone to send me their info for a week and that wouldn't work too well.

I had them make 100 flat packs, so it won't be a problem.

I'm sorry guys, you have to understand how hard it is to track this. Someone's name on here might be SwissCheese02. Then they send an email to the site and the 'From' section will read RBH, then their real name is Bob Hammond. If they don't let me know they're SwisshCheese02, that's wants 3 JBL surrounds, it's difficult to remember and track. Imagine trying to find What Bob initially wanted when his email shows up as RBH and he goes by Swisscheese on here. You have to literally dig through 200 emails every time.

Then to make it harder, I may get a question on the other site asking about shipping to Maine. I send them a message back asking for zipcode. They contact me on here with just the zip code, that's it. I go back to the site to figure what they want and give them the total. Then a week later they send me a simple message her saying "Yes, I'm fine with shipping".....but they didn't quote the conversation we had before. So then I have no idea what they wanted, who they are, where they want it shipped, etc. So I go back through all my sent messages to find that info.

So you can imagine how many messages I'm trying to track. And I can't delete them because there's 8 messages for each person, and 3 names for each person. I'm NOT complaining, I'm just letting you guys know how hard it is and why it takes some time.

The "from" email was showing up only as Custum G### Cen###. When you PM'ed me here today and signed with your name, I went hunting for any emails that were from someone with your name. See what I'm saying.....it's like a treasure hunt! But your name doesn't show up in the 'From' section of the email. So I thought "Hmmm, maybe he's from "Cust## Go## Cen###".......and there it was!

Bingo!!!


As mentioned, I'm really not complaining. I'm just letting you guys know that I really am trying. I need to set up a contact page with a form to fill out or something.

Yeh, I know, the problem was that I didn't realize "Cust## Go## Cen###" was you and I simply didn't connect the dots.

Like I mentioned, I'm not going nuts or anything, you'd still get the flat pack eventually as I went through all the emails one by one. I just couldn't find it yesterday when you asked.

I should have the majority of these shipped out by next week. Right now I'm only doing about 5-6 per night. I think I have about 25-30 boxed up or shipped. But by the end of the week I'll really start moving on them.



I'm in the process of typing up instructions right now. It is pretty simply and only goes together one way, but I'm still going to get some directions put together.
