So the initial broadcast of a new episode is full time then on BBCA? Just all the reruns the continuously play of 2-5 yo episodes are cut to fit in an hour window with commercials? Did not know that.

Re runs include the current season, but they do them at odd times, you can usually catch a reply of the initial show later on the same day. Most of re runs are older shows, but even those are still better than the US version of Top Gear.

New eps are shown twice on Monday night and again the following afternoon, uncut.

Well, clearly at 4:50 into this video, Top Gear suggests that the Tesla ran out of power and had to be pushed into the garage by 4 men, which even the above linked response agrees didn't actually happen. So some "scripted reality" was applied to illustrate the limited range of the car, big deal. However, the strangest part of this story is why after almost 3 years is Tesla even bringing this up?
Tesla is broke and needs all the money it can get. I find the fact that TESLA sent them the figure "We calculated that on our track it would run out after 55 miles" more funny than the fact Top Gear "scripted reality" of the car breaking down. That's Top Gear plus it's America, they HAVE TO make fun of the US is some fashion. I would also be more on Tesla's side if BOTH cars didn't pretty much break down. Where's Tesla's defense for that!? Yah know... if I'm gonna pay THAT much for this thing and can't even use it that's quite an issue regardless of any... Slander.

Review of this week's Top Gear:

Not particularly revelatory but worth watching to see Clarkson's presentation style (which he still does after what must be twenty years now) get lampooned so effectively.

Got to love Andrew Collins. (The guy reviewing in that clip.)

Sirens wasn't bad. In other news, another great episode. lol

Is this OnDemand yet so I don't have to watch it online?

Bumped for a reminder because this is coming through as a repeat in my guide.

Monday 9pm on Top Gear Channel ... I mean, BBC America. They road test a South African MRAP in the next episode.
Not showing as a repeat on my Tivo but it's not scheduled to record even though I have a season pass for it, which is strange. Guess I'll have to delete and re-add the SP.

Thanks for the heads-up, would've missed it.
It was not flagged as a new episode on my TW cablebox either so my season pass didn't pick it up. Thanks for the heads up - it's now set to record.
It's not flagged on my Direct TV box either... says it originally aired in June. Looks like I'll have to manually record for each week.

I wish I was getting this channel in HD!!
They have reruns on all the time and I can't get enough even if I have seen it before.

Anybody have any idea what typical cable channel BBCA is on in N TX?

This was the problem for Tivo as well - first run date is incorrect so it wouldn't record, had to manually set them. Ugh, we've seen this before on BBCA.

Looks great in HD on Comcast in the ATL, BTW.

Try going on Zap2it and type in your zip code and click on the cable provider.
Amy Williams is cute.
That would be a Porsche c0ckster incidentally, as the BBCA bleeping machine continues it's idiotic attempts to ruin the jokes.
