I am starting to buy parts for my HT system. I've looked at so many posts and reviews I am about to go crazy, especially because I am not an audioholic and don't have any idea what people are saying half the time. I am going to be getting the pioneer vsx 1020k receiver, and probably an epik legend for a sub(i cant afford the empire). I have looked at several floorstanding speakers and just cant decided what would be best for me. I have read great reviews about the Energy r50's, as well as the KEF IQ 90's. I love the look of the KEF's, but I am also reading that they are "bright". What I do not want is that real tinny, "glass shattering" sound that makes your ears bleed. Is that what they mean by bright? Are the KEF's bad about this? I am not looking to spend more than $600 for the pair. I really wanted the swan diva 6.2's but they are twice what my budget is. I'm a firm believer in hearing it for myself, but there is no place within 100 miles of me that I can demo these at. Other suggestions are welcome, it's not just between these two brands. My only two uses for the system will be games and HT
