Need cable recommendation for under baseboard run.

Hi all,

Looks like the best way to run cable to my rears (Vandersteen VSM) is going to go around the room by sliding the cable under the baseboard. The question comes to what cable do you recommend that would be able to go under the baseboard. The plan is to run the cable to the back of the room which would then plug into an outlet for each speaker. The outlet would be connected to a short in-wall run of cable to the speaker. The main reason to go this route is that I don't know how to go from under the baseboard to in the wall.

Thanks for any suggestions or recommendations.

Well, Any cable that fits?

I don't know the length of the run, 14-16 gauge should cover most reasonable distances though. If round or paired cable is too large there are a few companies that make "flat" speaker wire that may work for you. Theres been like 15 threads on em so just search the forum.

Thanks for the reply. It's probably going to be about fifty feet to the farthest speaker. I just took a look at the baseboard and it's pretty good except for one area that is pretty tight. A flat cable is probably going to be better since I'm trying to cram two maybe three runs under the baseboard.
