PSW10 or Logitech Z-2300 Subwoofer

I realize the Polk is a component speaker and the Logitech is a set and i wouldn't but one or the other for the same thing. But i was interested Sub versus Sub, which is better? Or are they better in different ways?

I already have some Sony Speakers I inherited from my dad, so I've already purchased the PSW10 to compliment them

probably neither, but I say go with the polk

I use them in different rooms for different things, but for a bigger room the Polk would be better, mainly because you would want larger front speakers. The z-2300 can get loud (i have never turned them past halfway) but it is nice to have a larger pair of bookshelf speakers for good sound production.

If you already have an amp and the Sony's are nice I would not replace them with the z-2300.

In short, I cant really compare the subwoofers, but the Polk is probably "best" unless you are limited in the size of your front speakers (like I am on my desk).

Yeah my question was just for comparing the subwoofer just for personal knowledge, not for practice.

But thanks for the response anyways davidlc. I know my amp+full range speakers+polk are much better and I would never dream of replacing them with the Logitech set
