WSVN in South Florida is broadcasting on 8-02

The picture looks alot better than 480i. Could it be 480p?

Subchannel 8-01 has a signal but no picture or sound on my Dish 6000.

I wish I had been home to check this out. Right now, they are broadcasting only on 8-1, and it is not programmed to map to 7-1 like it normally is, so this is different. It is the same 480i signal, though...

I am receiving it on both 7-1 and 8-1. No 8-2.

The picture quality during the NASCAR pre-show this afternoon was alot better than I have ever seen on WSVN.

Right now it looks the same as it has in the past - crappy.

If you see it again, please post again...my HTPC will tell me the resolution.
Unfortunately, I'll be away all day tomorrow, so I won't be able to check it.

By the way, it wouldn't be 480p. It would either be 720p or 1080i, and the 480p content would be upconverted. According to my last conversation with their chief engineer, they were leaning towards 720p.
