DVDO VP-50 Pass 3D?

Does anybody know for sure whether the DVDO VP-50 (non Pro) will pass 3D from non HDMI 1.4 sources like the Sony PS3 and DirecTV?

Seems Lumagen is apparently disinterested in my questions in the other thread, granted it's only been a few days, but I think I'll see if I can get by with what I have by just adding the 3D-XL.

Thanks!

Nope.

FWIW, the 3D pass-through capability was only recently added to the DVDO Edge & Duo while the latest official firmware for the VP50 was released two years ago. Even if it were theoretically possible --and it's probably not with the VP50's older HDMI-- it would appear that DVDO has discontinued further development of the VP50.

So the Edge has pass-thru now too and not just the Duo. Didn't know that. Guess I could move the Edge out of the bedroom to the living room and put the VP50 in the bedroom. Beats having to buy a new processor right now.

Nonetheless...

Lumagen 1
DVDO 0

Thanks.

Yup, it's firmware v1.6 for the Edge that does the trick.
