From a review:

"On the plus side, Asus does what it does best and loads the O!Play HD2 up with plenty of features. The front side has USB 2, powered eSATA that doubles up as USB 2, Memory Stick, SD card and CF; while the back sports component, composite, both types of S/PDIF out, HDMI out, another USB 2 port and a USB 3 link directly to another PC: but no USB 3 for flash drives or external hard disks though."

That begs the question: What do you need USB 3.0 for? No content needs the speeds USB 3.0 provides, and if it's about file copy over LAN, most streamers don't even have the CPU horsepower to saturate a Gigabit link. And for filling up a streamer with an internal hard drive, eSATA is more than sufficient, too.

So what's the point?
