Copying settings isn't calibration, so you aren't going to get much help in the Calibration area.
Then there's the issue that copying settings does nothing to make YOUR TV accurate. Every TV is different to some extent. You'll find info on what to turn on or off in an owner's thread for the C5xx series (or C6xx). Essentially you turn off anything that has "Auto" or "Automatic" or "Dynamic" in the control name - but the other controls have specific things you need to do/see in order to find the proper setting for YOUR TV.
If you want your TV setup properly, you need a test/setup disc like Digital Video Essentials HD Basics (under $20 at Amazon last time I looked). This disc will explain how video works and how to use the patterns on the disc to setup your TV without relying on settings somebody posts that may or may not be best for your TV.
