Yeah, I haven't played BF3 much lately. I finally got my wired controller yesterday that did not pull one way or the other, so I think it is good. I first jumped on with it into a game with Zath, thinking that it would improve my jet skills. No deal. Oh well. If anything I seemed to turn even slower. It is hard to tell, because in my opinion it seems Dice is always tinkering with the Jet dynamics. They seem to almost never fly the same from one week to another. Irregardless, I am so so bad in the Jets. It pretty much is infuriating. I think I am going to have to look at switching up my sticks / buttons as I just can't seem to be able to use the fire button correctly. I have only ever used one setup, and it is not the default setup. I know that #1 guy BR Tactics, told me he just uses the default setup, so I may have to try that or a different one. (I'd have to look, I don't know the name of what I use.) I'm honestly wondering what kind of controller a lot of these guys are using when flying jets, thinking they could be using things other than stock controllers. I may have to give my freek stick things another try.
I know it has been a couple weeks since I have flown, but man I absolutely could not believe how long it took me to turn last night.
But my new controller showed no signs of a dead zone (if I am thinking correctly about what that term means).
I am not really enjoying Halo 4. Every time I complete a game I seem to back right back out, whether I have a good game or not. It just doesn't seem to be enjoyable. They have always changed up the modes and maps used at will, sometimes week to week. Like right now I don't think they have 8v8 CTF, only up to 5v5 now. I assume they will up that, maybe they are letting new guys learn or something. Also they only use the same few maps in each game mode, and I expect them to change that up, especially when the community starts making some good maps. I mainly have been ranking up using the forge...lol. I plan to have a couple maps modes ready for just screwing around and having a good time.
So I probably will just keep playing BF3 the most. I really want to dig in and see what I think of my new wired xbox controller when combined with the Recon class and other classes for gun play. Whether it was because it is just a new controller or because it was wired, I seemed to notice that my reactions seemed quicker and more precise. But like I said, I haven't played this game lately so it is hard to judge.
