Great video. I think its pretty amazing that he uses the scoped xbow. He gives all the classes, except the recon class, a long range weapon. I have yet to get lucky enough to disable/destroy any land vehicle. I have only done it choppers and 1 jet. I guess I just need to wait till another tank shoots first.

After being sick for over a week I plan on playing tonight. I only played last week due to double xp but I was seeing double at times. Hopefully I catch some of you tonight.

I just checked that guy in the xbow video stats and hes not to bad. 720 spm 4.16 w/l 3.25 k/d and he has over 1000 kills with the scoped xbow.

Yeah he's pretty good. Check out this clip. How does he do that grenade toss thing? I can't do that??? Am I missing something?

How does he do that with the nades? Massive killing spree.

As for the grenades, I think pressing R1 while throwing will let you hold the grenade and let you aim.

Gotta practice more with the xbow.

Not sure of your button combo but for me to hold a grenade longer I hold down the right trigger while I press the grenade button. I wish it would cook it this way but it just holds it.

Hmm. yea looks like he plays a ton or plays with KB/M lol. The quick snaps are crazy good.
I didn't know you could run through that bookshelf by on metro, gonna have to try that next time.

How do I get the explosive bolt? I want to whore it out before it gets nerfed.

mph, gotta try AN-94 with silencer never thought to try it.. Always just use heavy barrel on the AN-94 but been wanting to get back to silenced weapons which I used to always run back in the early BF3 days so was considering switching off it once I hit 'platinum' on it...

Zath he makes the xbow look easy. Moving chopper shots with the explosive bolt is probably one of the hardest things in the game and its just a disable on a full health chopper.
I do wonder though, the drop looks different from the normal xbow. it really looks like the scope extends the range. Lazy is that true?

I had a cap awhile back that I show an explosive bolt up in the air at a chopper and it must've hit it on the way back down. or at least i thought i had the cap, apparently i just told hapi that i needed to go record it but i didn't =(.

Had some good games last night on the AVS server. The last match in epicenter was fun. Level 99’s and 100’s on the other side and they were giving us a hard time but we did manage to win. We were wining in the beginning, then they joined and capped all the flags. At one point I though we were going to lose it. One guy had 100 service star on the M16A3 and one had 100 on the MP7. Those games are fun when you have everyone working towards the objective.

Zath, Spyder and I were playing earlier. Then MPH signed-in and Zath goes, I bet MPH will say “what’s going on fellas”. Then he joined our party and said something else.. We were dying.

55 seconds into the video...THIS is why I lose head-to-head gun battles. I think it was snake that said earlier to start shooting first, then look down sights. I did this a couple of times last night and it worked like a charm. Still need to train myself to do this as a habit, without thinking about it. (Probably why the M5K with laser works well for me.)

Amazing how I'm still finding things out. Hell, after hundreds of hours in them, I only recently figured out that you could boost in the tank while in reverse!

Reminds me of how my wife asked me why it was so damn dark in my third playthrough of Fallout 3:

Snake hes using the balanced bolt on those shots. That bolt has less damage but the distance seems forever, almost seems like there is less drop than a sniper bullet. If you notice he always headshots them with that bolt due to the lower body damage. The only 2 bolts he uses in the whole video are the balanced and HE.

Zath I agree with snake. That HE bolt is not easy to hit a moving chopper. The drop on them is crazy. He makes it look easy, most of the time I thought he was shooting it to far away. I did learn a few things though from that video, need to try them tonight.

You can equip an xbow with a primary weapon?

Zath if you remember the original slow tracer dart from BC2 it reminds of that... with additional arrow drop

after you unlock xbox you need to finish an assignment to get he bolt (5 grenade, underslug, and c4 kills)

Also noticed they added some more assignments for weapon camos if anyone is still trying to get them all.

Ahh gotcha, I didn't watch it all last night and didn't even notice that. I still thought it looked like the explosive bolt wasn't dropping as much as usual but that might just be not really knowing how much it's supposed to.

Yes. For example, it takes the place of C4 for the support class or TUGS for recon class.

I've used it the last two days now and I'd say that it will now become my go to suppressed gun for the assault class. There really isn't any spray and pray. You either hit your target or you don't. Still shoots fast, and headshots are still deadly. I think you will love it.

On earlier note I got a couple really nice long range scoped xbow kills last night in scavenger games, pretty much my first ones with the scoped version. Heck, I thought I had missed it took so darn long to award me with the kill.

Went 26-4 on Metro Hardcore...as a sniper...believe it or not!

This miracle got the final pieces of the X-Bow today and got the cheevo. Funny, I didn't even realize the cheevos, was looking at assignments.

Gonna try to get the lost Daddy's Dino later as well as the X-Bow vehicle destroy. Couldn't get it today, since it takes about 8 HE bolts to kill a tank with Reactive.

It's true on COD as well. Tough habit to develop though...

Dino one is easy. Crawl through the sewer hole at the C flag on Epicenter.

All but one lousy grenade kill remaining for HE bolt. Good games tonight.

The last match, I think everyone was disconnected from the EA server. Good games though.

Got both achievements last night, so all that's left is 4 co-op ones and the prefect run on campaign.

I don't think that mph got "the joke" of me running around in a small circle on A in Scavenger; not killing anyone, just picking up gun, after gun, after gun. Grabbed 84 guns in a single match, so that assignment is nearly done as well. I wish I didn't have the desire to complete everything, as it takes me out of the game and punishes my team sometimes...putting an L96 in my hands and asking me to get 100 kills with it makes me even more wothless than I already am on foot. I need to make a pledge to myself to just use one gun on BF4 and stick with it, assignments be damned. (At which point, Dice will nerf it to death and my vows will be broken.)

Yeah I also have a bunch of guns to pick up, but I'm in no rush. I still have AK achievements and assignments to complete!

I followed your lead and played recon last night on Conquest Epicenter (that game you left) and ripped it up. I mostly hip fired a 417... it was ridiculous. I'm going to run recon from now on.

Good games last night. I think I cried a little on that Metro match messing around with the new to me "much cooler" way to throw a grenade.
