If I was yelling, it most certainly wasn't directed entirely (or even at all) at just you. As frustrated as I can get at times, I get moreso when I'm on with AVS guys and something really absurd happens...like a LAV that somehow keeps magically driving all the way through the map and shooting me in the ass repeatedly or when it seems that nobody is spotting and I'm getting triple-teamed in the air. Keep in mind that this frustration isn't even directed at AVS guys, you just happen to be the unfortunate ones that hear it. For example, our blue randoms did virtually nothing to help us in that one match...nor do they ever. I guess I get more angry because with AVSers I expect to win and have it come relatively easily so that I can relax a little bit. So, sorry if I was yelling. Don't take it personally, even if I unintentionally call you out in anger. My bad, for sure.

To be honest, that's one of the reasons why I've even considered getting a DVR...just to see how bad I really am with the rage. Maybe seeing/hearing it first-hand would help me realize just how awful I've become. (I do realize I'm by FAR the worst offender of the cursing/whining all things Battlefield, save for maybe Shmoopy on a really, really bad day.) When I think about it offline, I'm actually embarrassed to think of what I may or may not have said, but then, I get in the game and it starts all over again. Not that it's any excuse, but my body has been failing me for some time and my days have been loaded with activity. By the end of the day, my pain is generally so great that horse tranquilizers wouldn't touch put a dent in the agony. I think you guys unfairly get the blunt of that, so again, I apologize to all.

Lastly, if it's jet-related against Zath, I concede already!

I didn't care. I suck in the jet and I know it. I was your wingman and I didn't realize you had someone on your ass and I flew to the chopper for an assignment kill. You then made a comment about your wingman. Really though I didn't care, I was just busting your balls about it. I was only in the jet to shoot down choppers and didnt realize someone I knew was in the air. I would of attempted to help you but who knows how effective I would of been.

Zath, I've played with you on metro before and if I remember correctly you ending up with the most kills in the game. Don't think metro would be a fair map for you.

NEVER sell yourself short in the jet. Just flying towards an enemy and appearing on their radar can be enough to shake them off a friend's tail (and possibly get you killed). If you have heat seekers, lock on a guy, fire one missile, then wait for flares or ECM. Count to 3 (or re-lock if ECM) and fire your 2nd missile.

I have had some good games on Metro, but a lot of that is due to a strong team reviving me and/or me just camping out in one spot. I don't think jets would be a fair test. How about Rhib boats only? Whoever can kill the other the most with a rhib boat might be pretty hilarious. I don't think Spyder or myself have spent that much time in those things, so the playing field is pretty even.

Hopping on in 30 min or so; gotta clean off the driveway.

I'll be on around 9pm probably. Wouldn't mind doing some chopper gunning.

I always wondered what those 3 tags would look like. I should be on for a little while tonight.

I dont usually use heat seekers on my jet but I think I am to help with shooting the choppers down. I want to get that assignment out of the way. On the chopper though I always fire one rocket and wait for the re-lock or flares to go away. I always hate watching people fire 2 of them at flares, what a waste.


Also, that BF3 friends was hilarious. So far that one and scavenger are my top 2 for the season.

Yeah I loved watching the chopper launch MPH at people.

We need to set up a sticks and stones match!

1) VERY small map.
2) Everyone runs Support
3) At least one person per squad has extra grenade squad perk
4) Everyone has ammo crate


Only greanades and knifes allowed. Everyone drop ammo crates in high traffic areas (Or spawns) and let schenanagins ensue

Spyder, I think I am up there with you. I bitch a LOT and I am sorry as well. I find myself doing it and try to reel it back, then I get triple teamed while I have 6 blue guys around me (All medics) and I dont get revived. I have a lot of fun with the guys on here but sometime I am just PISSED. I just want to go to my quiet place and punch dance my rage out.

I think it is harder but still better than the original maps. I cannot play rush on them , rush on AK = #1

So the other night (Spyder's friend) WayWard and I wanted to play a helicopter map. Wayward found this great server. It had just one map...Armored Shield, from the Armored Kill map pack. It is set for Conquest at 200% tickets. I think the server is just always full.

Well since then I have played a ton of Armored Shield. I mean the Attack Heli's are good, but it's just that the Tank Destroyers are better. I mean the Tank Destroyers are ridiculous, by far the strongest vehicle for that map. I soon realized that I wanted to just spend a couple rounds just in one of those. By about the second round of that, this game happened...http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/battlereport/show/75357256/2/362606889/. I was on the US side, so our home flag was A flag, while the RU's home was E flag. I think right off the bat the RU spawn has it against them, because the whole map seems to slope towards E flag, and you can see every vehicle leave their base if you are at B flag, the Gunship flag...basically the middle of the map. Well I went 30-1 in that match, and basically I felt like I completely stopped the whole other team just by myself. It was stupid. I probably shot down 7 or 8 helicopters trying to leave their base and not paying attention to me. I eventually ended up with what I think is my favorite setup being Reactive Armor, Zoom Optics, and Guided Shell. If your team is using Laser Painters on it's two choppers it is lights out on the other team if your Tank Destroyer has guided shell. But just the regular shell is very easy to gauge really far shots on air vehicles as well. I couldn't believe how easy some of these long cannon shots were. Making sure to hop out and repair my Reactive Armor really paid dividends too.

Well, if you have not tried it yet, you owe it to yourself to go on that map and try that setup on the Tank Destroyers. It is just pure fun. Too bad I didn't record that round.

yeah it's basically an LAV with a tank cannon on it. Its health is pretty strong, too - I can't kill a tank destroyer in one strafing run on my jet. Seems pretty silly - tanks take half of my run. Tank destroyers take one plus.
