So it looks like its Zath and Spyder. Unless someone else speaks up I thought of something really interesting which involves no killing and I can record all the action on my end.

ATV racing. Was thinking of it while playing Armored Shield the other night with you guys. Could set up a "track" and I can be in a chopper watching the action. Ill check the map out and see if I can get a good track out of it. I think most of the Armored Kill maps, aside from the mountain one, could be used. I thought of that one because there are some nice jumps we could do. Let me know what you think of it. We will have to set up a day once I can make a track. We can even do maybe like best of 3 with the same map or different maps.

Just a heads up. Online play for bf3 will be down for about 8 hours starting at 1am EST. server migration, hopefully better connections.

Oh yeah, a race sounds perfect. I'm in for some video footage.

How many ATV's are there in the map. At least 4 I would think. Maybe we can do some team races also. With gunners and everything

We need to make the server locked with a password and then people can spectate with different recorders. I say let's do it!

But why stop at ATV? How about Mobile Artillery racing?

I think the ATV are the fastest land vehicles, thats why I thought of those. If we had the new maps already then I would say dirt bikes.

Spyder and Zath should have to compete in a BF3 decathlon. I'm thinking EOD bot race is a must.

yeah mobile artillery is slower and that's half the fun.

EOD bot racing would be pretty hilarious, too.

Man I wish horses were in bf3 now. Let me know the time and day and I'll get some footage also.

Best two out of three: RHIB boat, ATV, and EOD Bot.

We could all stand in the middle of a field, and let them roadkill us with MAV's, EOD's, ATV's, whatever, and the person with the most kills wins.

After a no kill race turn it into mario cart but putting passengers on the back and letting them drop C4 (If it will let you even do that) Might be pretty interesting LoL

I know colliding side by side on the same team doesnt really collide but I think on opposite teams you should be able to push each other around. Thats my hope. Also thought of Little Bird race on Noshar. Could make the race go under the cranes and bridges. I know the small bridges way out on the map can only fit 1 chopper at a time.


I did think of the Mario Kart C4 but more of fun thing for us to fool around with.

I'm game, wife is out of town until Saturday, so i can play whenever after 5 PST. I am definitely interested in the ATV racing. Setting up some "hazards" may be fun as well. For example, have a few guys posted around the map with RPGs or just plain guns in an effort to deter the racers. We could use the spawn beacon as a starting point for the race......

A relay race might be interesting as well. have the first leg be with ATVs/humvees, second leg be tanks, third leg be choppers, last leg be EOD bots

Hmm may have to make time for ATV shennanigans.

cool, hopefully ecm will get fixed for jets. Initially I think it could be really fun, but I'm weary of all the people that are going to be using heat seekers

So it turns out Premium would've been cost-effective for me after all. Oh, well! I blame all the gaming magazines that speculated a co-op pack and single-player pack. And starting with a CoD pack.

As for the race, if we do it in hardcore mode, anyone can get injured, even on the same team. Though it'd be harder to track from the air due to lack of HUD displaying our blue/green triangles. I was thinking on the way home how funny it would be to set up an ATV slalom course with you guys as the poles. Run one of you over, get a 30 second penalty.

C4 dropping is cool but why not go one step further and use claymores instead?

There's a mode I'm just going to LOVE....

I got news for you guys. There is no way you will make it all the way around the map without crashing and dying. So you might want to think of a plan there.

Oh and I think there should be several different rounds. What about a sniping round. Like they could both set up next to each other, count to 3 and starting shooting at a victim 700 meters away. Something like Operation Firestorm's mountain tops. Though that could be painfully long.

And then we could probably think of some other bull to put them through, so as not to waste this opportunity for lols.

I'm thinking a full BF3 skills test.

Well you could make servers have rules like no heat seekers except for choppers. Just a possibility.

Im in for some BF3 racing. But dont have AK. Like Zath, not worth it for me to get Premium anymore since I'm only waiting for "end game." I only have a few hundred points towards that. If it wasn't for black-ops 2, I would have premium. !!

I'm really happy with AK but sad that no one plays it anymore.

I'm also betting that DICE will completely screw up Air Superiority the same way they screwed up Tank Superiority mode. Those steps:
1. Add vehicles designed to destroy the vehicles in the title (tank destroyers -> tank sup). AA vehicles galore!
2. Allow people to get out on foot and kite around the map (javelins/soflam). Stingers galore!

Yeah it's probably going to be a wash. 1943's air superiority mode was simple and that's why it was so great. Get in a plane, use guns only, and shoot other planes down. Pilots who eject are suicided in 3 seconds. The only safe zones on foot are the carriers, and any kills on the carrier don't count. AA guns protect carriers from excessive spawnkilling.

Maybe they will have a chopper version for it as well. I suck in a jet so I need something. I could see plenty of air collisions though.

I want a little bird version. When dirt bikes come. Oh man. Evil Knievel all day long.

I wonder if there will be dirt bikes everywhere like the atv's or will there only be a couple.

Probably just a few and I'll be camping that SOB everytime. I wanna jump it into a chopper.
