Which region does the accent originate from in the US?

South-eastern US - probably the Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas, or Mississippi area. I've been in that area a bit, he sounds like the locals in that area.

He is exactly what is wrong with the server rental stuff, you can't just ban a guy because you want to get in the tank that he is driving.

And I saw Homefront mentioned a page or two back and I have to say I really liked the campaign (Unusual for me) but the MP was unplayable for me.

Thing is, I can't understand this guy's thinking at all. I'd rather play with someone that wants to win, yet complains or gets angry than a bunch of jackasses that couldn't care less and sit back and worry about their precious KDR. I realize I'm pretty aggressive at times, but would you rather play with someone that puts their head down and never says a word, yet is perfectly okay with losing because they act like getting killed means they're dead in real life? Am I way off base here?

Banning someone because they're in the way of "doing whatever you wanna do at that given moment" seems pretty assinine to me, regardless of who pays for the damn server. How long would we want to play with mph if he starts booting anyone that picks up a gun in Scavenger just because he wanted it? Hell, Zath's our best pilot, but he doesn't cry like a little bitch if I jump in a jet. Vehicle whores that we both are, we take turns driving the tank/LAV, etc, while the other repairs, guns, or helps out with a rocket or two. Snake posted a vid just days ago where wayward was 2nd place in points, wherein he got all of those with just one single kill the entire match. Isn't this about teamwork? Isn't this about winning?

I mean, this douchebag boggles my mind. If I pay for a private showing of a film, do I get to choose the ending? If I decide to invite you all out for dinner, do I get to eat ALL the food or dictate who eats what? If I pay for front-row seats to a game, do I get to cripple the other team's best player if my team is losing?

Maybe it's just me, but I won't sit idly by and allow either myself or others to get raped, regardless of who pays for the anal lube.

Sorry for bailing on you guys last night, but I fell asleep and decided to just stop playing. For some reason, big conquest maps does this to me.

It would of been better had they made all the points around the lake area with one or two on opposite peaks.

I have to agree, out of all the armored kill maps thats the worst one for me also. I would have to rank them

I kind of wish Armored Shield had jets and the Bandar Desert had a transport chopper or a little bird. Those maps are very wide open and large where they could of added some more air vehicles. Even 2 attack choppers would of been nice. This way you have extra air vehicles and instead of wasting 4-5 players in the air only 2 would be.


I just really need to play on the PC. Might be something I do tomorrow. I'll start with a controller and slowly play with a keyboard and mouse till I get the hang of it. 64 players just sounds to sweet.

Also, Zath and Spyder, we need to get this ATV race going.

I'll let you know if I end up going on. I think you can use a headset to communicate but I dont know for sure.

zath I can play sometime. Harp and I have played a few times. I think we usually just end up using steam's voicechat because origin blows and neither of us had vent set up.

Some concerns about the video capture card challenge:

I'm wondering if my PC will even run it? I only have a lowly AMD A8 with 16GB of RAM. I assume hdd space won't be an issue, with 3TB; 1 internal and 2 external, if needed. As for the video card, I haven't bought one yet. I've always wanted to try BF3 on PC, but after I realized I'd have to plunk down $300 for a new card, I thought it best to wait, rather than have my wife kick me to the curb for spending that much to play a single game. Hell, that's twice the cost of either her Xbox 360 or PS3 with a TB of games on each!

Can I even run a capture device effectively with my current setup? Sorry for the noob question, but my computing needs haven't been too heavy to date. I'm certain that everyone else has stuff miles above and beyond my junk, but any advice is appreciated.
