Yeah, honestly I have recently had the desire to hunt people down that I have come across that I just don't like (for lack of a better term). I guess this spurred from that 100 knife service star video that I found and posted a while back, where the guy hand selected his victim for that final 100 star kill. He looked him up on either bf3stats or battlelog or something where he knew what server they were in, and then he logged on and went after them.
I think I want to do that to a few guys in the future. I think it is part of the competitive spirit in me. Last night I started figuring out how to find people using bf3stats. Is there a better way than that site? Battlelog maybe?
These are the two badmins from that Armored Shield match:
-check out this goofball...his top two weapons are the knife with 14,600 kills and the xbow with 4600 kills, with the USAS being 5th on his list. My research says he plays a lot of Close Quarters, which makes sense of the knife kill stats. He also has 114 service stars with the Attack Choppers and 109 service stars with a Jet. I feel like I have had a lot of time in the Attack Choppers, yet I only have 19 service stars for a reference point.http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/soldier/Jays0nMyfeet23/stats/364377171/xbox/
-here's his buddy...99 service stars with the knife...101 service stars with the Scout Helicopter...60 service stars with the Attack Chopper...http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/soldier/mastercheif9473/stats/189452134/xbox/
This next guy is unrelated to the ones above.http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/soldier/BloodEPools/stats/368304631/xbox/
I met him one day when I was by myself on Armored Shield a long time a go. He is #2 in the world on xbox with Attack Chopper kills (less than 900 kills from #1). He has 317 service stars for the Attack Choppers. I noticed a month or two back he won a Premium competition for a weekend of air combat. He barely has any regular weapon kills, and I suppose they are all from being shot down or while repairing. I met him again last night, actually managed to TV missile his chopper, but my randoms were a joke. He left early though anyways. I'm not sure if he tries to fly solo, or if he is the gunner, or what the deal is, but he is a big time TV missile user. IDK why, but I just want to go up against him with my TV missiles while having a pilot that knows what he is doing. I know I am going to have to go after this guy. There is no stopping it, until I at least get my fair share or decided he is just that much better than me.
I think I am to the point where I think I actually want to make a list, guess even like Microsoft Word or something, where I can keep track of players I want to go after. Funny I know. I think part of it is indeed competitive...why I got hooked on BF3 to begin with. Something along the lines of me wanting to know that I can indeed win my fair share of the battles, as opposed to getting owned by certain individuals or clans. Like meeting the top Heli pilot and wanting to just own him, or at least have a decent fair crack at him. (Personally, if I were Zath I probably would follow around some Jet pilots...but I think that would probably be much more difficult and painful for both parties. But I still think I would want to know how I measured up.)
And then there is the other side of it where I just want to troll the trolls and badmins and whatnot. The M26 Dart losers and whatever else. Guess after a year and a half I want to up the ante a little. Maybe we could even make a youtube experience out of it..."Send us you pleasure people, and we will exact your revenge"...lol.Edited by mphfrom77 - 2/13/13 at 11:52am
