The only fun to be had if you're playing alone is to get in a tank, jet, or chopper and tear up the other team. You can't give a rat's ass (see my avatar) about if you win or lose, because if you do, you're sure to get obliterated. Just play like everyone else; worry about your precious KDR, ignore any real threat, and go about your business of being a d-bag blueberry. I also like to go solo if I'm working on some moronic assignment like sniping, since I'd rather help my AVS team win rather than sit in some hidey-hole all game.
Sometimes, it's fun to just listen to the conversations of randoms as well. I listened to two idiots talk about nothing for about 20 minutes yesterday before I finally asked if they both had lobotomies and quit. Playing with those without mics can be both infuriating and hilarious. Yesterday, I stole the enemy LAV on Rush. After going on a tear, I had to quit the game before it ended. I hopped out and tried to give it to my gunner. He hopped out. I jumped up and down. He stares at me. More jumping by both of us. He throws down a health kit and looks at me, perplexed. I run around the LAV, shooting like crazy at nothing. He follows like a good puppy. I jump on top of the LAV. He jumps on. Finally, I hop in the gunner seat and start shooting. At long last, he gets the drift and takes it. I was in tears when I shut off the console.
