I've been battling this decision. If I keep mine, I'm not out anything, can do the BF4 beta, still game with you guys, and if my PS3 craps out in the next few months I'm covered. I want to get rid of the 360 and close that chapter out. Glad I didn't do that last week.
Yet another bullsh!t GS "extra credit" offer. Base value of my 500GB PS3 Super Slim 3 weeks ago was $150. The past two weeks, they had a so-called "extra 50%" deal. Base value dropped to $100, so with another 50%, it was worth the same $150. Now, it's "double credit" time. Guess what the base value is? Yep, $75, and we're right back at the exact same $150. Maybe they can run a "Get 1,000,000% Extra!" and just lower the base to the same 1/100th of a cent value as the coupon itself.
Oh, and unless you've got a 320Gb hard drive and it's the newest Slim model, you won't be getting $200. 250GB is worth $140, and 4GB is a measly $100, even with "100% extra" marketing lie. Just keep your 360, Nexus!

But occasionally, lately, I see new 360 4gb deals for like $160.
And then I see you guys with your Gamestopping. What would I get if I handed GameStop a new system that I just bought for $160? Just curious / confused.
4Gb are only worth $100 now, so you'd lose money. Initially, they were giving a one-time use coupon for renewing your Rewards card. Back then, you truly got the extra 50% credit, so it made things much better. Now, they've offered the same lie to everyone and dropped the base values to next to nothing. Avoid GS at all costs until this garbage is over.
