Well, I'm just messing with you if it is not clear.
But I figured you were messing as well. I know you (rightfully so) think my build is a little crazy, as well as others.
In my defense I am trying to put together a quality setup that can last 7-8 years if I am lucky. As far as the gpu and pretty much the whole build, I've kind of gravitated to the idea that this could very well be my one shot at having a nice pc...or at the very least the gaming side of it. I did up my budget on several items (monitor, keyboard, mouse, ssd,).
Now I am indeed considering going with a higher tier gpu, but I can't quite pull the trigger yet. I know there are several nice $200-$300 gpu's, I just think they will not last as long as a $400-$700 gpu for gaming. I am considering a gtx 780 which range in price from $620 to $765. My reasoning was, it may be my one shot at a gaming pc in all honesty...it would be better at some video creation stuff if I did go deeper down that path...and it would probably last a couple years longer, gaming wise than the lesser priced $200-$300 models (but I really don't know...obviously since I am a pc noob).
So there it is in all my painful admittance. I understand I could have spent way less for a gaming pc. I am trying to do more than gaming. What can I say. I decided to go for it.
But I am still very undecided on a gpu. I was thinking about getting one of those "Ebay Korean" 27" PLS overclockable 1440p monitors that have been selling lately for $260-$270, but I may be reconsidering that. And if so then I probably can reconsider the dropping down to a say 770 or something. This would definitely open up some funds to allow me to go ahead and consider some type of music stuff, which I haven't even looked into yet.
I know AMD has incredible deals right now with their added games and new cards coming out Oct/Nov. But I have definitely keyed in on Nvidia cards.
I really don't know what gpu I am going to go with though.
