Fine, fine, stop pestering me! :P
Honestly it plays just like the beta with vehicles. I suppose that's a good thing. There are definitely a lot of bugs they need to patch, I'm pretty sure my hypothesis that they rushed it out to beat MW3 is correct, a lot of this stuff is pretty basic.
Unfortunately they did not get rid of the "haha you have no sound" glitch, but they did change it. Instead of not being able to hear anything other than yourself, now the only thing you can't hear if yourself (gunfire, footsteps, etc). Thankfully it doesn't happen nearly as often (only one in my few hours of play time).
I've had some latency issues and I'm pretty sure it's not on my end. Every once in a while there'll be a 5-10 second spot where you jump around just a little bit, then it returns to normal.
It seems that the blinding effect from lasers and flashlights has been greatly enhanced, at any sort of close quarter with a flashlight aiming you at you you're pretty much blind. I like this as in the beta it seemed to be more of a way for enemies to see you than anything.
Knifing is really buggy. I snuck up behind someone and clicked my knife button...and I pulled my knife out. Then I stood there. Then I ran up and clicked the fire button and knifed him, but every other time EVER it's been a one button deal. On top of that I can't tell you how many times I was in position to knife someone and clicked the button and simply missed. Doesn't seem like other people are having issues knifing me so maybe it's just me.
I can't comment on the vehicles as every time one spawns it seems that a complete moron jumps into the driver's seat. Seriously, I played with two clanmates who were driving and main gunning a tank and they were trying to drive into a building for 30+ seconds. I jumped out finally so I've no clue how that ended up but I'd presume not so well.
The spawning system is pretty bad. I played a few rounds of TDM and I had enemies spawning right in front of me with their backs turned and such. One guy literally spawned in front of where I was shooting...yeah...he didn't last long.
Oh, one more thing...they track your # of quits on Battleblog. Every time I've quit it's been right when a new match starts (since you can't quit in the post-game menu). I don't really care that it tracks them but isn't it kind of stupid to do so when you force people to exit the game by quitting in the middle of a match? Oh, and going hand in hand with this, a new battle report just popped up for me for the game I just quit (right when it loaded) and my team lost, so do I get counted for a loss when I didn't play a single second of that match?
Overall it's pretty fun thus far but I really think you need a group to play with to get the full enjoyment out of it. Playing with morons just isn't conducive to my fun.
That good enough Jammy Jamz?
