New achievements in CQ DLC posted... Looks like a new game mode in there also.

• Dominator: Win a round in Conquest Domination - 20G
  
• Deadly Tools: Without dying, get a kill with a Carbine, Pistol and Rocket Launcher - 30G
  
• Show of Force: Get 10 kills with all ten CQ weapons - 30G
  
• Man of Calibre: Complete a round of Gun Master - 20G
  
• Secret Achievement - 20G

CQ Dom- Release before Close quarters? Probably 3 flag variants. In different locations on current maps i'd bet.

A bunch of us just got off. I think I will be on later though.

Finally hit level 50 at 560 hours in. 4260 C4 kills and almost 25k total kills. Good times today.

Last night I got a killing spree stopped bonus of 380. Wowsa!

It was that grim reaper fellow. Running around in the BMP the whole time, he was tough to take down as you can see by his four deaths and eighty some kills. At one point I just waited for like five minutes for him to finally come around the back road with a C4 trap. Only way I could get him. But it was nice to see that 380 points pop up for killing spree stopped! We eventually got screwed because some idiot on my team gave them our LAV so we ended up losing all flags and were being spawn raped repeatedly. I left after my javelin refused to get any hit markers. I probably fired at least 20 jav's at their IFV's but for some reason couldn't get any hits....and they weren't running smoke.

A level 100 go figure. Had a high level guy like that running a tank once. I tried forever to get him out of his tank but he almost always managed to see me. Got him once or twice while he was distracted. I'm learning to avoid direct confrontations with more skilled people. Newbs stop and practically load C4 themselves. Really good drivers move and stay moving. They also tend to see everything either by running prox or having a good gunner. It can be almost impossible to get them out, but there's satisfaction when you do! You learn to hide among signs and rocks and doorways and wait for teammates to shoot at them. Kharg I'm still having trouble with cuz its all open.

Yeah Conquest Domination is def coming out with the DLC but probably will only be in the DLC maps like they did with CQ Assault and B2K.

No clue what Gun Master is.

Will be on later this afternoon prob around 3-4.

Thanks for that Nexus. Wish they gave more info on the last 2 expansions but Armored Kill looks cool.

Spyder will be happy there looks to be a "Tank Superiority" mode in that one. If they have that mode surprised there is no Air Superiority mode/map like in 1943.

new maps apparently included in the patch... maybe Premium will be released today and we can get CQ early?

fyi people are saying if you update early (download on marketplace) you can't play at all so you might want to hold off until server update goes live.

Gun master and tank superiority? AC-130, dirtbikes, ATV's. Hmmm.

I have to say that they seem to be doing the DLC right so far. Adding weapons, vehicles, and modes of play is a welcome addition to map packs. I am a little worried about those last 2 expansion packs though - at least one sounds like horde mode (fight to survive). I'm sure it could be cool, but I only get so much replay out of those modes. Hope we get details today.

Have a feeling that premium members on PS3 will be able to play today, premium 360 next week, regular PS3 the 3rd week, and finally regular 360 at the end of the month. Just guessing based on PS3 having 1 week exclusivity and now Premium has 2 week exclusivity. Not a fan of this type of stuff.

yep looks like you're right Harp -- PS3 will get it today and Xbox next Tuesday 6/12 based on some screenshots people have been taking on in game calendar.

The patch should still be good for today though right?

I downloaded and installed it, and the BF3 dashboard is different now.
It lists:

PREMIUM
My Soldier
Options
Store
Extras

Clicking on PREMIUM does nothing...for now!


Also, when I try to select "Server Browser" under MP it says,
"Your Game Version Don't(sic) Match Server Browser Version. All Servers Will Not Be Shown"

So maybe better not to patch it yet?

I wasn't able to connect to any servers when I declined the update. Now I'm updating and will try again once it's finished.

I guess I'm not as disappointed that we're not getting Rambo's bowie knife since it looks like we get a meat cleaver instead. How am I gonna rip someone's dog tags off with that!

Whenever the new patch/maps drop, I'm going to get back into the game. I took a much needed FPS break. I put almost 200 hours of time into this game - this pales in comparison to some of you guys, but for me that is astronomical. I'm looking forward to the new maps and I really hope that more people will play on them then what I see with Back to Karkand.

So I am wondering buy purchasing BF3 Premium if I will be able to play the new map pack today? Will find out later when I get home. I dont expect many people playing the maps if this is true.

Highly doubtful. PS3 has exclusive early access.

They advertise 2 weeks early access for the map packs. If it is next week then I would assume this week I can download it. It says you must download the map pack from the in store game and not from the dashboard.

It's probably like harpua was saying earlier. Premium PS3 people get it this week, next week Premium Xbox gets it. Two weeks from today regular PS3 people get it and two weeks from next Monday regular Xbox people get it. I wouldnt be surprised if Premium isn't delayed like everything else.

EA E3 press conference is 4:00 EDT today so I'm sure we'll get all the details then...
