Only paid 20bux and amazon will allow me to trade it in for 21bux, I'll give it some serious try this weekend.
I played COD straight for 3 years, WAW, MW2, and Black ops, I don't play much on organized teams, and I was sick these turds joining games, killing their on team mates and then bailing, with the popularity of the series, it was getting really bad with Black ops. And don't get me wrong, BF3 has it share of folks trying to kill their on team, I've been run over by jeeps at spawn points, anyway.
Switching to BF3, took some adjustments just as you said, the game just didn't feel right, but what it really is, BF3 is more precise, how many times have you been knifed in COD even though you had the edge and put a few bullet rounds in a guy, won't happen in BF3, your also not going to get many kills shooting from the Hip, you have to aim down the sites. You need to throw everything you did out the window from COD. You need to work with your team, especially on rush and conquest, the best part about the series is the size of the maps, after awhile you get kind of board running around the same 3 square blocks in COD.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking COD,the only commonality is they are both FPS, the game play is completely different.
Give it a few weekends, and you'll be hooked. Was the limited edition selling for $20 with the back to kirkland maps? That's a steal.
