Thanks, that sounds about right then, I only see the back to karkand maps, so I'm guessing you can save your filters, which seems to be what I've done inadvertently , hum, man i feel dumb, but honestly, I don't have time to figure stuff out, too much going on with all my other pet projects, I just like to go straight into a match, and play, and decompress, but I'll check out the filters this weekend, I'm going to get as much playing in now while they are offering the double XP points, lol.

You could either set your filters or search dice's servers for either most popular or bf3 classic servers. most popular servers are a mix of CQ & rush, and i believe bf3 classic is CQ servers.....

as it turned out, seems when you go to the filters, and you can select an X next to all the maps, well, the maps, that are just off the screen, that you need to scroll too, where all checked, but none of the other maps were, dumb moment on my end. All good now.

Put in some serious play time this weekend, was able to go rank up to Col 3 in just a few days.

PSN is CAPTDANMAN, I have a mic used with my cell phone, but for some reason, I can't get it to work with BF3, it's paried, just doesn't work, my old BT headset finally crapped out which is why I haven't used a mic in a while, that, and I get kind of loud and wake the kids, so I'll work on getting a replacement, I'd like to get a turtle beach, any comments on these?


I really like the support and engineer classes, I have a new favorite support light machine gun, can't remember what its called I'll post it later, company blocks all game sites, shoots like an assault rifle, but has 46 rounds, you can easily take out a group of 2-4 on the same mag where before I'd get 1-2 only to be killed by the 3rd guy, most versatile weapon I've found so far, minimum recall using the fore grip attachment.

Armor kill is out today, so what's the word, any one take the day off for this or working from home?

The gun you're talking about is the l86a2. Its a pretty nice gun. I have different weapons for each map and game type. I use the l86 on close quarters sometimes. Other favorites of mine are the pkp, m240, f2000, mtar, and pp-19. As I said I use different ones on different situations.

Didn't know armored kill is out today. If I didn't have football practice I would be playing it right now!

So, why in the hell can´t find a single $50 PSN card in my damn town?, only $20´s, I´ll wait for the weekend to become Premium, armored kill worth it

You can just use a credit card. You don't have to use a psn card.

Have you not got close quarters? I thought you have been on with us on some of the cq maps.

again, could be me having another dumb moment, but I don't see where I can download armor kill, not showing in the PS store or in game, I see all the other downloads. anyone else having issues? Trying to get eveything set up so I can get a couple hours of playtime in tonight.

update, ok, after letting the system sit idol, and then going back in to the store, if finally showed up.

After the PSN fiasco last year, I just don´t trust PSN to give my credit card numbers, I know, paranoic, and no, I don´t have CQ.

Option #2 then...prepaid visa card. Load up $50 on one of those, use it, then throw it away.

Dice was aware last nite of Armored Kill not showing up in BF3 store, and after a search, i found it on PS3 store......


Option #3 - Purchase a downloadable $50 PSN card from gamestop.com......

He's in Mexico city. Don't think that there are an abundance of gamestops down there.

I'd let the credit card company worry about that, the credit card company's can sue Sony arrest the thieves, what ever it it takes, but I want owe a dime, heck that's why you get a credit card it the first place, you don't get one to purchase stuff that you would otherwise not be able to afford, right , You have a credit card so you don't have to use your cash, that you can lose, or your debt card where some one can drain your bank account.

Just watched some armored kill on YouTube and that gunship looks insane! I am itching like a crack head. Two more days.

The gunship looks extremely OP. I think I'm skipping this DLC because of it.

Battlefield can take the plot right next to CoD and Rest in Peace. I hope Halo 4 is good otherwise all hope is lost for a good FPS this year.

The gun ship is a sitting duck for the one surface to air laucher, and other aircraft, but while it's in the air, it can do some serious damage to the Mcoms in rush and teams camping around protecting it, you can also take out enemy armor easily. You can also spawn via parachute from the gun ship, which is great.

there are two positions in the gun ship, one fires a tank like shell and the other fires a high power canon.

Maybe I missed the memo, but I was thinking their would be more armor and machinary, but that's not the case, still a ton of ground troups running around, I had envisioned something like the battle of kursk or something, an all battle of the tanks and other varmord vehicals.

One thing I noticed, the MComms were easily taken, even on a crappy team we were able to take them with ease, when defending and moving to the next set, it seemed like the ememy was already setting the charge before the defending team had a chance to fall back. all the games I played went really quick, usally ending with all the mcoms being taken out. Only couple ended with the attacking team running out of tickets.

Well, things are not that Easy in my country, once, my dad´s credit card was "cloned" and the thieves bought nextel lines before my dad could do nothing, this thieves loaded my dad´s Credcard with US$4,000 ONLY WITH PHONE CALLS, my dad had to do a lot of paper work and had to travel to Nextel´s main offices in México to get this problem solved, so yes, you don´t pay a dime, but the process is a pain in the ass

FYI one phone call lasted 9 HOURS, Who in the hell makes a 9 hours phone call? I believe this guys where kidnapers or something.

Have you played Tank Superority yet? Sounds like in your description, you've only played Rush.... In Tank Superority you have Tank & Hybrid Tanks, going head to head with opposing team to capture & hold One Flag..... You'll still have ground troops, which are handy if its an engineer with his torch, or javelin.....

OK, I take this back, the teams were out in force last night, I was on random servers, and I don't think I won a single single match, never seen so many 50-100 level Colonels on the same team.

Yup, the Battlefield franchise has always sounded awesome, I can´t remember other games with sound quality as good as BF3

Yeah, it sounds good until the game glitches and there's no sound at all.

yeah,I'm having that issue as well, I can still hear my sounds, but the battle sounds will cut out for a few seconds or a minute, and then they'll come back, but the game has always had some glitch, I like cutting through a fence only to hear the sound of the fence 5-6 seconds later, but hey, all software has glitches.

The sound issue has been around for a while. Really sucks. I can hear people walking around sometimes on mine and that's how I hunt them down. When it cuts out it sets me back a notch.

Oh and the new maps are pretty fun. Getting used to them but I'm doing better.

There are 2 clans that have been mentioned on this thread I can remember. Both are very active. TeamMP is for gamers that are parents. I have played a few games with them and they are pretty cool. I play for KYJ. Between us and our sibling clan tgc we have around 60-75 members. We are a clan that are competitive but don't care if you're newer either. We also are a very open clan for foul language. We don't care how you talk so if you like to get rowdy check us out.
