I have been lurking for awhile reading many threads and I just wanted to thank all of you for the incredible amount of information and advice you give. I dont think you all get enough appreciation for what you do, since I am sure there are quite a few like me that just sit back and do not participate.
The knowledge you all bring here is amazing, it has been quite a learning trip for me. I will be setting up my new receiver, Yamaha Aventage A1000, with new speakers, Energy RC Micro 5.1, this weekend and I hope all goes well, wiring in a 160 year old farm house is always a joy.
And yes I will admit I am replacing a Bose 321 system, which will make many of you happy. I wish I had visited here before buying that system several years ago. It sounds ok, and I admit it was the ease of wiring and the two speakers that appealed to me, and appease the wife. But when I got a new Samsung LED, 3D TV last Fall I realized Bose does not play nice with new equipment.
