I bought a JVC GR-DVL720 mini dv camcorder in 04. I don't use it anymore. I was trying to capture the video from all my tapes, and my camcorder seems to have died. It was misbehaving badly, which is one of the reasons I quit using it. During playback, audio cuts in and out. I tried a cleaning tape, and that didn't help. From what I have found, buying another camcorder will be the cheapest route to get me going again. I'm obviously not looking to record anything new. Is there something in particular I need to look for? I don't want to pay for something I don't need. I do what to purchase something I can keep though, in case I decide I want to work with the original tapes again. Thanks!
