I recorded TV shows with an external hard drive ( Plugged on an Bell decoder ) And I want to transfer those shows to my computer, but when I plug it to my laptop, it detects it,but doesn't give the option to go in it, how do I bypass that? Thanks
You can get more/better answers if you provide the make/model of laptop, make/model of portable HDD, and what software you use to view/edit the video files (have you done this before with no problems, or is this the first time you're trying to import video from the Bell/HDD)? What OS is running the laptop (Windows XP, Vista, 7, MacOSX, etc). Also, if you have antivirus software installed, let us know what brand/version as well.
Ehhh I never did this before, it's saved on a external hard drive, plugged on a Bell HD Decoder, and I use Windows 7. I use Avast! Antivirus, and I'm on a Toshiba Satelite, but it doesn't work more on my old computer that runs on Windows XP
It's possible but I doubt anyone in this sub forum would know. AVS does have a HDTV Recorders forum but I don't see much about Bell equipment, which I assume is Canadian?
