Need help deciding on fronts for less than $700

I have been researching and believe I have narrowed the fronts and center to the following speakers, which are within my budget. The speakers will be used almost exclusively for TV and movies

Canton GLE 403 and GLE405
KEF IQ30 and KEF IQ60C
PSB Image B6 and Image C5
Monitor Audio BR2 and BRLCR
Polk RTIA3 and CSI4

The Polk's are the lowest cost and the PSB is the highest cost with a range of $200 difference between the low and high.

Any thoughts on these setups as to clarity and sound. They all need to be bookcase speakers used in a bookcase.
The receiver is an Onkyo TX-SR706. The PSB speaker spec's talk about a 6 ohm impedence. I know very little about that but will my receiver drive all of these systems. I will be using Athena speakers as the surrounds.

Thank you for your insight.

I have the Onkyo TX-SR707 which is a year newer and I'm in the same position. I have been looking at the same Polk's and also the Energy CF30s. I have heard the Polk's and they sounded very good as did the Energy's. I too would like to hear recommendations from others as well.

Your receiver is certified for 6 Ohms as it is stated on the website and the manual.

I think the OP was looking for bookshelf speakers, sounds like you can have floorstanding speakers if you're looking at the Energy CF-30.

for $700 you can get two Energy RC-30s for $400 and then add the Energy RC LCR for $340. Yes that puts you over your budget by $40 but it would be money well spent.

you can get the center for $340 if you call the vendor. Several people have done this in the Energy Owners forum.

any suggestion for the OP?

All of the OP's choices are good.

If he's putting in a bookcase he should be aware that many of those choices have rear ports. He'll be blocking the port with the back of the cabinet or bookcase.

I've heard the KEF iQ3 and iQ6 in a brick and mortar store in the past. The vocals and dialogue are extremely clear. If home theater is your main purpose they would be a good choice. iQ30 and iQ60 are pretty much the same speaker, just newer version. Vanns has really good pricing on the iQ30 and iQ60. You could even throw in iQ10s as surrounds and only be slightly above your budget.

Have you listened to the selection? Because some of the speakers vary by much such as PSB vs Polk. If you like Athena you probably like brighter speakers, and I'd scratch Polk and maybe even Canton off the list.
