Colors get seperated in the top corners. Can I do something about it?

I have JVC AV-27430. In the two top corners, the colors get seperated. For intence, if there's a white line, you'll see blue on one side and red on the other. Usually it just looks blury. It does that with all the inputs. It seems to do that in the bottom corners too but it's not as bad.

Is that normal? Can I do something about it.

Yes that's normal. That type of separation is what you would call a convergence problem. I don't know about JVC sets, but sometimes there is a service menu adjustment for to improve it. In some cases magnets are used to fix this as well, but that's not anything I have tried.

Most larger CRT's will have imperfect convergence, especially at the corners.
