I am thinking of buying one of those recent big Imacs, but I want to know one thing before I switch to the other site.
I now have a perfectly set up PC, which allows me to bitstream HD Audio streams via my Ati 5750 card. I'm really ONLY talking about HD audio (DTS HD Master Audio and True HD). So my plan is this: Set up bootcamp or Parallels (this would be better I guess) and then play any BD ISO from an external Blu-Ray drive or from the hard drive within Parallels.
In the PC world you need any ATI 5xxx card to get bitstream HD audio to work. The latest Imacs have those cards built in. Is it possible to get this done?
I tried this on my MB Pro 13" and it worked, except the fact it wont play HD Audio, because of the lousy graphic card. So, I know bitstream audio works within Parallels.
In theory it should work, can anybody please try this or give me an info pls.
