Specs are
E3300
P5g41c-m
40gb ssd
win 7 32

I have it set to sleep after 3 minutes but it always wakes up within a minute.

I don't see a wake on lan in the bios but I have all the "wake on" stuff disabled. Like wake on ps2 keyboard etc.

I have sleep in the bios on auto but I can select S1 or S3, should I pick one of those?

I'm lost here please advise.

If you run a command prompt and do a "powercfg -lastwake", what does it say?

I had this happen a while back. I am pretty sure I narrowed it down to my anti-virus auto updates. Kaspersky is what I use. I disabled it and put it asleep. Didn't come out. I just turned off auto-updates for a while and did manuals. About a month or two later I tried to leave auto-update on. I was fixed. I guess they fixed something.

I configured my PC so that the keyboard and mouse won't wake it up, but the USB IR media center receiver would. I went into the device manager, and for all the keyboard and mouse devices, displayed their properties, went to the "Power Management" tab, and unchecked "Allow this device to wake the computer".

The USB RF dongle on my HTPC likes to wake it up.
