Which Rti's to go for

Hi,
I'm looking to get a set of Polk Audio Rti range speakers.

i am considering the following set up (I already have 2xJamo sub300s doing the LFE):

Fronts: RTi A5
Center: CSi A4
Surround: RTi A1

1) I have heard that for movies etc, the A5s will be better than the A7s as they have a 2nd mid-bass driver.

2) It is worth investing a bit more and upgrading to the CSi A6 center speaker? Will there be a big deference over the CSi A4? Lastly, will the CSi A6 match up with the A5 front speakers or will it be too big/overpowering for them?

3) Any other suggestions?

Thanks a ton!

1) In my brief experience with RTi8 and RTi10 a few of years ago (equivalent to today's RTiA 5 and 7) two 6.5" mids sound more forward and aggressive - yes, may be seen as a good thing for movies

2) Definitely try CSi A6 if you have room for it; large, VERY LARGE compared to A4, and sounds better to my ears. Won't overpower other channels, unless misconfigured on the AVR.

3) Have you considered FXi speakers for surround duty?

edit: For reference, my setup is very similar with RTi6 (6.5" bookshelves) up front and CSi5 center (CSi A6 today). My biggest regret is not being able to place CSi5 on top of the TV for various reasons. The smaller CSi3 center, which I had before and sold, was much easier to maneuver.

Hi Guys,

Sorry, forgot to fill in some important points in my original post:

1) This setup that I am getting will be used 99% of the time for home theatre. So I'm looking for the best sounding HT system.

2) Just bought the Onkyo TX-NR708 receiver, which apparently is a fantastic receiver, and should work well once my system is fully set up.

3) What will the Fxi's offer over the RTi-A1s for surround?

Thanks!
