Onkyo HT-S5300 setup with Wii

Hi all,
Apologies first off if this was answered somewhere else, I've spent 45 minutes searching with no luck. I hooked up the 5300 to all my equipment and the only piece I'm having problems with is the Wii. I've listed my setup below. Can anyone help me figure out how to setup the Wii?

Based on back of receiver (http://www.newegg.com/Product/ImageG...20in%20a%20Box

HDMI inputs:
in 1 (BD/DVD) - PS3 slim
in 2 (VCR/DVR) - unused
in 3 (CBL/SAT) - Cable box/DVR
in 4 (Game) - Xbox 360

Component inputs:
in 1 (BD/DVD) - Wii

Component out - Running to TV

Is this the correct setup for the Wii? It says you can assign the component inputs but I'm a little confused on how to assign the HDMI BD/DVD to the PS3 and the Component BD/DVD to the Wii and how this will work with the audio. Has anyone else had the same setup? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi bobes75, assign the Wii connections in menu:

HDMI Input under "VCR/DVR" assign from HDMI-2 to none (-----)

Component Video Input under "VCR/DVR" from none (-----) to IN-1

Wii video connected to Component In-1 (green, blue, red)
Wii audio connected to VCR/DVR In (white & red)
Then go into Name Edit menu and choose "Wii"
Component Out to Tv

Or get a Wii2HDMI if you want to keep it all HDMI.

Hi JChin,

Thanks so much for the info. I'll definitely give this a shot tonight when I get home and let you know how it goes. Thanks again.
