Planning to get these Polk speakers.Pls Help.

Hey, I would like your opinion on the following setup.

I have an Onkyo RC-270 a/v receiver. Now, I'm planning to buy the following Polk speakers for my new 7.1 setup.

Two pairs of Polk TSi300 as my front and rear channels
One pair of Polk TSi200 as my side channels
Polk CS20 for the center channel
Polk DSW 500 subwoofer.

Since my receiver can only output 100watts per channel, will there be a difference between a 150W speaker and a 200W speaker?

Do you guys think they'll go with each other smoothly?Please help me out.
Thanks in advance.

Btw, this is the first time I'm gonna experience lossless audio. I'm currently using Optical output.

I'd actually get the Monitor 70's now... the TSi300's are $199 each on Newegg. the Monitor 70's (which is basically the TSi500) are each $179.99 right now... the CS20 or CS2 (again pretty much same thing) are on sale at Newegg too (the CS2 is $20 cheaper at $129.99 right now) and use Monitor 30's (TSi100) or Monitor 40's (TSi200) as your sides (or hell use them as your rear as well, no real need for that much overkill on your surrounds... the M40's are more than enough)

and Please Please do not get a polk sub... they are garbage In comparison to others in the same price range. get the Bic H100 if you're in the sub $300 range or get an Elemental Designs A2-300 for a MASSIVE upgrade if you have $400 to spend

you'll save a bundle going with the monitor series that are on sale (just started today through the 28th) on newegg and have more to beef into your sub (hell beef up to the A5-350 with the savings ) or you save a bundle and get MUCH better performance... and that Onkyo will be more than enough to drive those M70's...

A few tidbits...

If you do go with the TSi series, wait for a sale. I bought TSi300's for my L,R and got them through Newegg for $129 each. The sales come and go fairly quickly, so if you can stand waiting and watching for a week or two, you can probably save some money.

As the other poster above mentioned, you can get more speaker for the money with the Monitor series. At equivalent 'deal' level, you can get one model higher in the Monitor series. (@Newegg's best recurring sale prices, TSi300=M60, and TSi400=M70.) However, the TSi is a bit different looking speaker, so you'll have to decide which look you like, if that matters at all. I bought the TSi because it matches well with my sub and my TV.

As to the sub, the BIC PL200 is, IMO, a great deal at the $269 price it can be found for. It meshes very well visually with the TSi series, if those are what you end up going with.

Best of luck, and enjoy whatever you decide on.

Tsi400 actually is the M60... the TSi500 is equivalent to the M70... the TSi300 he was going for is equivalent to the M50

I was showing price equivalents, where the TSi and M series intersect at the same sale prices. I had already mentioned that those price equivalents buy you one model level higher in the M series vs the TSi series.

Thought I was clear, but maybe I wasn't...

Thanks a lot for your input..I'm definitely going for the Monitor series..Also, I'm in India so I can't order from new egg as they don't have international shipping. Why is everyone telling me not to get a Polk sub?Compared to the others, it is the same in terms of tech specs and the design is pretty awesome.Do you get room shaking vibrations with it?I'm gonna demo everything anyway though.How do you prefer the grills on the speakers,on or off?
What do you guys think about Elac FS 57 and the Elac Sub ESP 50?

EDIT : I just found out the Monitor series is vintage and may not be available.That being the case, i guess I have to go for the TSi300 .The total amount for the combination in the OP is 2000$. But please remember that the price is inclusive of shipping,customs duty, etc.

Will Polk's Ebay store ship to India? They have pretty good deals on the Monitor series...

Check newegg.com for Polk Audio monitor speakers. They usually go for $165-180 each for the Monitor 70 (TSi500 equivalent...).
