Pop singer and former American Idol contestant Clay Aiken puts his North Carolina home, complete with home theater, up for sale.
Season 2 American Idol runner-up Clay Aiken has his semi-rural Cary, North Carolina, mansion on the market for $2.7 million.
With six bedrooms, including one decorated in an African theme, there is plenty of space for electronics.
Flat panels are located above one of the fireplaces, as well as in the bedrooms and spare rooms. Some of the TVs are surrounded by large windows that might cause too much ambient light. What do you guys think?
While the property is free of a tennis court or pool, the home boasts a tiered-level home theater. When Aiken occupied the house, the front rows were filled with bean bags for additional seating.
Spanning more than 9,000 square feet, Aiken's pad also features a professional kitchen adorned with blue and silver accents. During an interview with Fox-affiliate WRAL, the singer noted the room doesn't get much use these days.
