In the next couple weeks, I'm going to be rewiring my house with RG6. I've got 5 rooms (1200 sq ft house) I'd like to distribute to, and have one central location in the basement I'm going out from. I'm concerned a passive splitter would cause too much signal degradation given I'm running HD cable in the living room (wanting to expand to DVR in the next few months) and 12meg cable Internet.
What are your thoughts on this? The reviews are good, but we all know the folks on Amazon sometimes leave a bit to be desired in terms of technical understanding. So, I leave this for you:
