Hmmm... Found this old thread while looking for some JBL 2360 horns. I already have several sets of aluminum horn adapters and am looking at the fiberglass horns themselve preferably from a Northern US location. Any left?

TIA

Lee

Yeh, I have a good number of them left, some went in the dumpster just 2 weeks ago to make room for incoming pallets of subwoofer flat packs.

Shipping them is pretty much impossible without a pallet, and that's getting expensive to do. I have some smaller ones with the 1.5" compression driver, but the model escapes me right now. 2352?
Yup. It sucks that their size makes them close to impossible to ship. Do you think they could be shipped for $200 across the border? I am in Montreal. Or do you know anyone who's driving across the border? I could meet there. I don't mind driving for the proper cause. ;-)

No, it would cost a lot more than that to ship over the boarder. The box would be as big as a washing machine box.

I believe most of it was sold off. Sorry. frown.gif

However, I'd like to know more about you and what is in your avatar! The cluster in the middle looks familar. biggrin.gif I'm building three of those sealed. cool.gif

A pair of 4660's and 1 of 2 5504 LF enclosure with Diamond
Quad driver array (4 x 2226). I use a tube amp for the 4660's and a Mackie amp for the Quad although it calls for 2 1200 watt amps per cabinet.

Sweet! I'll be using twelve 2226's to build three sealed versions of those for the bottom end of some new LCR's I'm working on.

I'm hoping you can tell me that your single vented one puts out more bass than anyone can tolerate. biggrin.gif

Dude, JBL's are going to bring smiles to the faces of all who visit. You are going to enjoy the ride.

I don't know about as much as can tolerate, but I will say, you will be very pleased with the results. I have always drooled over those drivers. They are so good in so many ways. Good to see, I am not alone in the love of pro drivers

Me too Rob!

The bass is super tight and with two 12 inch ports, it doesn't disappoint. Cabinet weights in at close to three hundred pounds , built like a tank.

Lee, you could always get them shipped somewhere in the states near you by the boarder and go pick them up yourself.

I busted up some more of those really big horns and threw them in the dumpster last week. frown.gif Not many left, maybe 10.
You know,

I guess I really should have read this thread a few months ago. I just kind of hit the first post by accident on my phone and now I am seeing all the JBL stuff that was for sale. WOW! Good job finding such treasures. Any 8330's left?

Thanks,

Robert

I'm not sure exactly what I have left over. About 2-3 months ago the same guy contacted me with some more JBL stuff, but no where near as much. I was helping another forum member with a pallet at the same time and he purchased most of the stuff that was still in the cabinets......a few of the dual 15's, a couple of the 18's, and some horns.

The JBL guy also had racks full of the Ashley amplifiers from the theater for really cheap, but after starting a thread here, there didn't seem to be enough interest for me to get all of them. There were over 30.

I do think I messed up on this second round and paid an extra $25 for each of the 15's, but everything else was the same price if I recall. I'd have to double check though. Maybe it wasn't.

I think I have four of those expensive 18's, some of the 16 Ohm 15" models, and probably about 10 of the mid sized horns with brackets and the 2447 compression driver all assembled together. But I'll probably be saving those CDs for possible use in the SEOS-24 waveguides that are coming.

There are 2 surround sound speakers left that I packed up last year, but while going through some PM's here in the last week, one forum member did ask about them. So I have to check with him first.

Rob,

I've got a pair of 8330A's I don't need that I got from Erich a couple of years back. I was going to hang them up in my garage for background music but I really don't need them.

I was thinking that would make a good system for the guest bathroom.
