Here is my Ruf 3400K. It's a true Ruf vin car. That is Estonia Ruf in the first pic taken a couple of weeks ago when she was at my house. I love it, nothing like a 468hp supercharged motor in a Cayman platform!

Hey Jeff, haven't told you yet, but I sold the TTS and picked this up. I'm really enjoying it, not as fast as the TTS but it will kill it in the handling department. Hope all is well!

Ted,

That is one gorgeous beast! That is the car if you are seriously tracking. Wow!! Love the adaptive seats, colors and that RUF build out. What a great find!

We drove Cayman S cars at the Porsche driving school and the drivers were unanimous that the Cayman-R was the ideal track car. Wow! What a car!

Home theater is good for a good adrenaline pump but nothing like that on the track!!

Congrats!!! Certainly a proud family!

Thanks Jeff!

Yea I really love it and it's very fast with that Ruf SC in it.. The cool thing is it's a real Ruf Vin car too, built by Ruf, not just a modded one. That's Estonia Ruf, President of Ruf, in the pic with my daughter. It was awesome having her here in OKC. In July Alois, Mr. Ruf himself, is coming back here with her and we're going to get together again. They're great people. I wish I could afford their 990Hp CTR3

I need to go to PD school in Anniston, AL. My in-laws live there. I know I'd love it.

Thanks,
Ted.

Plus I'm also thinking great, 700hp, and every hundred miles, you are looking for a gas station.

Usually, a response like this does not deserve a reply. But, it is my civic duty to say/ask, "Why TF do you care?" It is a person's right to spend a lot of money to try and get more hp out of some OEM vehicle. Would you rather have them spend money on escort services?

Ted,

With a ride like that the Porsche Driving school is a must! I had the time of my life learning from those guys and driving that beautiful long and curvy Barber course.

990 HP??! Wholly crap!

I've not seen many Porsches that would tempt me from my own... but you have one!

Just an observation.

Woman drivers (this one had her husband's turbo... a bit too much car for her).

Ya gotta love Porsche. Was at the local dealer's 2013 Boxster unveiling party, finally they are arriving. Anyways they had a loaded 2013 Boxster S, base price on the car was $60,900, final sticker price was $100,260. As the local Hyunda dealershouts out in his commercial's would say, "It's equipped, not stripped". Ironically a few years down the road, when its sitting on the used car lot, $40k with of options won't mean squat price wise compared to a less well equipped one.

But on the most important note, the food/drink was great & the party models were gorgeous. Of course they all wanted to pose with me, snce it was a Boxster party, I had them call me Big Daddy Boxster. As I told one guy, this is why middle aged white guys from the suburbs buy Porsches. But damm the weather was in upper 90's, possibly 100.

Speaking of speed. For our place up north, we just took delivery of this Sea Doo Wake Pro (with a 215 HP engine).

0-60 in 3.0 seconds (almost as fast as my car) and a top speed of 70 MPH! It's also has plenty of power for skiing / wake boarding and tubing my 3 kids!! Fun! Costs about 3 gallons per hour of fun (fortunately has a huge gas tank - 16 gal).

I would still go with the new Ferrari F12 for a lot less money, I have driven 98,000 miles on a previous generation front V12 and it has been extremely reliable.

Maybe, but didn't those things come with a pretty nice Levinson audio system inside?

my other "hobby" is HPDE car racing.

My current setup is a 2011 M3 sedan...drivetrain is stock, I upgraded the brakes (brembo BBK 380mm all around), suspension, and exhaust.

here she is in stock form, from my euro delivery trip last year:

WHat's not to like about an M3? One of the great cars of all time. Nice color on that beast!

Euro delivery... what a great experience that must have been!
