I have a Coby LED TV in a 12' x 12' exercise room. As expected, the built-in speakers are very poor and I cannot hear them over my treadmill. This is a small, infrequently used room that I'm trying to improve with minimal dollars spent. I really want to avoid buying a receiver, but the only audio output available on my tv is one digital coaxial.
Setup: Coby LED TV (cobyusa.com/?p=prod&prod_num_id=10505&pcat_id=2008#features-tab) connected to a AT&T Uverse Cable Box via HDMI.
Questions:
Thanks in advance!

Questions:
- I've found computer speakers with RCA inputs (logitech) that I can connect directly to my cable box, but I'm unable to control the sound with my cable box remote. logitech.com/en-us/speakers-audio/home-pc-speakers/devices/7321
- Does any type of powered speaker exist that I could plug directly into my tv digital coaxial?
- Do I need some type of converter in order to use RCA speakers with my tv?
- Is there another (cheap) solution to simply get better sound out of a tv without over-complicating a room I'm trying to keep simple?
Thanks in advance!
