Home Theater cooling solutions

I have a small media room/HT on the second floor its 14' L x 10'.6" W x 8' H, here is the plan

There is a door behind the Front left Spk and there is a small attic behind it. The Projector is right above the seating. The room gets really hot once i finished watching a movie. There is one vent in the room for air to come in and there is no return. so the heat produced by the equipment and the projector stays in the room.
Can anyone please help me how to solve my this problem.
Here is what i am thinking of, let me know if this i will work.
1. I can close the attic by removing the door and sheet rocking it, i really don't use that attic.
2. Add a vent fan like one of those Panasonic whisper comfort and let the air to either the roof or adjacent room where there is a return(advice).
3. Or add a mini split AC
What ever option i choose it should be within my budget ($500 - $1000)

Thanks

It's very common for the room to get hot with all the electronics going. You need to install a return vent in the room to exhaust the hot air or install a mini-split. Either should resolve your problem.

You need to get the hot air out of the room some how. If you can get some kind of circulation going you should be good. I'd try venting to the attic before making a major purchase.

Step one is to add a return

Thanks for the replies, installing a return is a bit expensive, ill try venting the hot air to a adjacent room where there is return.
@Hockeypuck25: is it okay to vent air to attic? how will that circulate air?

I might do what '3fingerbrown' did. He's venting the air to adjacent room.
