Once it's pro you should try it with Hardline pro - a single shot will put them on the map like they're sr-71ed, and you will almost always get an assist out of it, even if you get killed.

Yup! Was working on Hardline Pro last night. I lost 3 or 4 lobbies due to the host leaving/disconnecting. It was a frustrating evening of (Not-so) Modern (Inter)Webfare 3. rolleyes.gif

Not sure if you guys knew it yet but I found out today you can set up custom classes to use the guns and perks you want rather than the default classes. Its pretty cool you should check it out if you haven't already.

I also found out yesterday that if you use the LEFT trigger button (not the RIGHT one that you use to shoot with) it looks down the barrel, or sight of the gun you are using. It's really useful for shooting at guys that are far away from you.

I play with southpaw setup... does this mean if I use the right trigger button it will look down the barrel thingy? Does it lock the sights onto your target then?

I'm still a little surprised they didn't bring back a couple more maps from previous CoD's. Seems like the majority of the community would enjoy a little flashback! smile.gif

Yeah, I would have figured at least 4.

But 12 std maps, 1 old, 6 face off, 8 spec ops....it was a pretty good run.

I wish next year they start and end sooner. I've lost too much interest to get really excited about more maps at this point. A season of content makes sense, but a season isn't 10 months long. First maps should be out in December, and they should be done by July at the latest. Then just let it rest for a few months while the next game builds up.

Weapon rebalance for assault rifles & SMG's:
FAD - increased damage and range
M16A4 - increased damage and fire rate
AK47 - reduced kick
UMP45 - increased damage
MP5 - increased fire rate
PM9 - reduced kick

Better late than never I guess. I agree with the changes in theory, but the CM901 needed a little love too.

Hey Gt1racer,

Can you give us an update after you try out the AK and UMP? I'm wondering if you can really "see" the reduction in recoil on the AK. That thing was rediculous to shoot. lol.

Wow, the last couple of weeks I've really learned a lot about MW3 that I never knew.

For those of you unaware, you probably already know that the semtex grenades stick to walls and such and then blow up. What I learned this week that I find VERY interesting, is you can actually stick them to PEOPLE in the game! Ridiculous! I was able to stick one to a guy using a riot shield and woo weeee boy that was a riot!

Unlocked Sitrep pro for the first time... I didn't know that sound whoring could be so fun... Astro's sound really nice but BO IMO had way better sound...

I didn't really notice a difference with the AK or the UMP maybe the buffs were a small percentage lol

also i don't know if this is an error but Thursday August 9th Co Op Warriors at 1am ET

I used the ak47 exclusively last night and didn't notice either. Hard to notice though since I normally drop everyone instantly anyways.

Also, ground war can go to hell.

I didn't play with he AK much last night. But I did pick someone's up after running out of ammo. Killed a couple of people with it and noticed that the recoil was more "up and down" than all over like before. I may need to retest this as I've just unlocked it again.
