I play worse on a smaller monitor. Plus I also need surround sound. Without it that will also affect my gameplay since I can't hear someone sneaking up behind me.

Who's on tonight? I want some Black Ops. Didn't get on until about 1030 last night and nobody was around.

Did some combat training to try to get the feel of it. I think I realized part of what I like better with MW3. The sounds that you get for hit markers. When I hit someone in MW3, it's obvious. And espcially with grenades. I can tell if I hit a few people. Black Ops just makes it feel less crisp when I hit someone. I realize it's probably all mental, but it still affects me.

Anyway, Hoping to get a fair amount of playing in tonight if people are up for it. Should be on 830-900 or so hopefully.

I'll try to get on some tonight - BO sounds good for a change of pace. Tried MW2 the other night because I left the MW3 disc in the HT, and I was too lazy to go get it - maybe its just me, but it seems borderline unplayable these days.

Haha, screw you! It's so true, though.

Granted, I know I'm best known for the fact that my kill cams are always shot from the hip in MW3. But to be honest with you, I only use the PP90 on small maps. I'd say I use the G36 or Type 95 more often than that, and I actually think I do pretty damn good with those guns that require me to ADS.

But holy Toledo Black Ops just feels like I'm not connected to my gun or something. I'm sure I'll get better as we play it more, but it's going to be rough getting there. I had a couple good games, but I just don't have the confidence I have in MW3.

I can't believe how bad we got steamrolled on that one game of Dom on Summit right after Conman and Snarky left.

The recoil is a lot more random in blops. You can place a few shots and know exactly where they're going to land in mw3, especially with the guns you use. Your sight jumps around a whole lot more in blops.

You'll get used to it, I prefer it this way, makes for more tense gunfights.

Nuketown reminds me of Bog with the shitstorm of grenades, flashes, and weird sniper alleys going for flag B.

I'll be back on to BLOPS tomorrow or some time this w/e as I bought a used copy for about $10 from amazon and it will be here tomorrow.

I had traded it to BB a few months ago and $40 for it when I preordered FIFA 13 for my son. I had been waiting to find a cheap copy to put it back in the collection and one popped up on the radar today.

I agree playing BLOPS is a lot different than MW3 and its probably a decent idea to get back into that play style again before BLOPS2 hits in 3 weeks.

Best Buy is doing a 100% extra credit on any game trade in. For sure it's until the 27th but looks like it may go through Nov 3rd. Anyone trading in MW3? I definitely will be. I don't see myself ever going back to it after Blops 2 comes out. I'm just hoping it stays at $15 trade in value until Nov 3rd. I would gladly take $30 for it. Actually with the Gamers Club it should be $31.50.

I didn't notice it on their website. For reference, Amazon has both editions at $15 so the Hardened edition may not be getting any extra at trade in.

Jumped on for about an hour last night. No one was playing @ 8:00 other than Zombie, and he wouldn't invite me.....lol. Maybe he just didnt see my message? After playing Borderlands 2 man what a difference...seems like the sensitivity was really low on Borderlands 2 compared to MW3. My aim was all over the place for a couple of games.

For $30 bucks I'll keep it.

I generally keep COD games anyways.. the only one I've ever traded in was W@W. I still have COD2.. that & Madden '06 were launch titles when I got my Xbox360 console on the first day it was available.

Yeah. I don't ever sell old games. The few bucks I'd get isn't worth it compared to the potential to maybe want to play it again someday.

Fruitless - If you're still around, are you in Denver or Colorado Springs? I'll be moving to Colorado Springs next month/early December.

I can honestly say I may actually pass on this as I was sorely let down by MW3. I do still play it but they really did a piss poor job on the game.

Too damn cold and no ESPN. Plus, my marginal tax rate is 46%, sales tax is 13%, property taxes are 1%, milk is $6/gallon, gas is over $5/gallon, beers are $8 a piece at the pub and a case of bud is $35-40 (Stella is more like $50). I can also get a huge house and some acreage for less than my current home (a lot lot less). Last day at work is 16th of November here and then I'm back stateside. It's official I am no longer a MW3 player.

Got $31.50 trade-in credit for it at BB today. So plunked that down with my $25 RWZ certificate for a vanilla BLOPS2 preorder. Total cost for BLOPS2 $6.50 and since I did the preorder at BB I will get a bonus $20 RWZ cert about a month after realease so I actually made a little money on this deal! biggrin.gif
